(Their formal dining room sat 24 ) You can say hospitality runs in her blood.
So, as you can imagine, the transition to University of Denver’s Fritz Knobel School of Hospitality came as no surprise. However, she missed her own graduation because she achieved “Head of Catering” for the University and was now managing the event! Later moving on to become Co-owner and Catering Director of the award winning Landau’s Restaurant in Bellevue, Washington in the late 80’s, to owning the At Home Cooking School in the mid-90’s, teaching the skills, techniques, cuisines and creativity of entertaining…at home.

Mary Jane brings to you, her wealth of knowledge and resources from 30 years of experience in the catering arena, exposure to world cuisines, and certification of floral design. She enjoys nothing more than helping clients develop an event.

When Mary Jane is not in the kitchen or off to the latest site investigating the next party, you can find her updating her blog : My Northwest Table, planning culinary classes, cooking for family and friends, or walking her long-haired miniature dachshund, Coal, along the Sammamish River.
